November 8, 2006. Thursday. 10.05 p.m.It was Edward's birthday on the next day, and he was kind enough to invite me over to his place for the candle-blowing, cake-cutting ritual. I asked mum to make a few pieces of the chinese "huat-kueh" for this occasion, and those pink "huat-kuehs" were now sitting in a bowl just beside the cake.
Only a few of his close friends were invited. That little girl sitting in front is Edward's little girl, and she is absolutely adorable.
We were pretty good and sober at that moment.
